OREANDA-NEWS. Experts of "Autotor" took part in the launch of serial production of cars BMW X3 and X5 in Thailand for export.

As the press-service of "Autotor" informed, at the request of management of BMW AG in March of 2016, six employees of the Kaliningrad companies were aimed at the BMW plant in Thailand. During the one and a half months Russian specialists in production, quality, logistics and tests under the coordination of the managers by the launch from the head office of BMW taught their Thai counterparts and launch teams from other BMW plants in the world, provided the professional assistance in organizing of the start of serial production of new export versions of the BMW X3 and X5. Their task was to use the existing experience of "Autotor" to launch serial production and the practical sharing of knowledge with Thai counterparts. By the results of successfully completed training program and the start of series production, it was decided to continue the two-way exchange of experience between "Autotor" and the BMW plant in Thailand. In the coming months the Thai experts are planning a business trip to Kaliningrad.

"Autotor" is an expertise center of the production of the BMW SUV of model range "X". As a result of the joint work of experts of the Russian plant and specialists of BMW, working in Kaliningrad, the company for many years has the highest quality and stable performance among foreign productions, both in the organization and in the process of mass production. International Training Centre is working for more than five years on the basis of the Kaliningrad plant. During this time at the training center it was mastered and put into the line such BMW models as: X1, X3, X4, X5 and X6, 3 and 5 Series and 7 Series, including various modifications, equipment levels and powertrains.

Recall that today in "Avtotor" there are produced eight models of BMW: 3, 5 and 7 Series, X1, X3, X4, X5, X6. In 2016 car sellers at first used the accumulated experience in foreign production, by reaching a high level of interaction with specialists of BMW from Germany, the United States and Thailand.
