OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2016. Google is updating its search offering to bring listings for live TV channels, The Verge reports.

Searching for a show like Game of Thrones, for example, will show results for which channels are airing the show and at what times. This will appear alongside Google's existing information which indicates where you can watch the show using on demand services (such as Google Play store or iTunes).

Google's official blog only says that the update is "coming soon", but I have reached out to the company for further comment regarding which channels in different countries will be included in the results.
