OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2016. Acer introduced a range of new products on Thursday at a press event in New York City. The Taiwanese electronics company announced a variety of gaming products, a high-end 2-in-1 notebook, an enterprise-level Chromebook and more.

Beyond computers, Acer also highlighted a new smartphone and a range of health and fitness devices, including a GPS-equipped biking computer with a built-in camera.

Here's everything we've seen:

Switch Alpha 12

The Switch Alpha 12 is a 2-in-1 laptop with a kickstand and an included detachable keyboard. Acer has said that it is the world's first fanless two-in-one laptop, which means it should be extremely quiet. To achieve this, the Alpha 12 utilizes liquid cooling. Other specs include a sixth-generation Intel Core processor, more commonly known by the code name Skylake, and a 12-inch display with a 2,160x1,440-pixel resolution.

Predator 17X gaming notebook

The Predator 17X is a high-end gaming laptop with a sixth-generation Intel Core processor that supports overclocking and a desktop-grade Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 graphics card. The system has a triple-fan cooling system.
