OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2016. LaSalle County Generating Station will host its Community Information Night at Jeremiah Joe, a popular coffee shop in downtown Ottawa. The evening will showcase the robust operations of the facility. The event will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 27. 

“We welcome community members to come, enjoy some coffee and ask us any questions they may have about LaSalle Station and nuclear power,” said LaSalle Station Site Vice President Bill Trafton. 

At the event, LaSalle Station employees will be available to talk one-on-one with neighbors about the multiple layers of safety systems, security enhancements, emergency preparedness and environmental stewardship programs.

Jeremiah Joe is located in 807 LaSalle Street in Ottawa. Coffee and refreshments will be served.
