Salesforce: How to Convince Your Boss Connections is a Great Investment
OREANDA-NEWS. April 21, 2016. Maybe you’ve already asked your manager and she’s considering—or perhaps you’re preparing to make your case. Either way, if you’re going to join us for Connections 2016, you need to do two things: Act quickly, and be ready to explain how the investment will pay dividends. Let’s check out five value props that are sure to help you get to Atlanta on May 10-12.
Repeat after me:
I will be able to boost ROI on our existing digital marketing spend…
Connections has tons of content that will help me get more value from the technology we have today. There will be numerous hands-on training courses that cover everything from how to automate drip campaigns to how to create 1-to-1 customer journeys. I will return back to the office with tactics that can be applied immediately. Let’s look at some training courses.
I will gain insights into how the best brands drive results…
We both know great marketing when we see it. The beauty of Connections is that I will have the chance to hear directly from the marketers behind those campaigns. Marketing Cloud has thousands of customers, and they’ve invited some of the most innovative to share their strategies and best practices. The sessions will be lead by marketers of all levels, so the content isn’t futuristic. It’s practical. Check out these speakers.
I will focus on what matters most to us this year…
When I register for sessions, I’ll be able to hone in on the content that matters most to us. I can build my agenda around themes like email, mobile, advertising, and social media marketing, register for content geared specifically to my role, and select sessions designed just for our industry. Every session includes details about what I’ll learn in 40 minutes, so there won’t be any surprises. What sessions do you think I should attend?
I will gain insights into where Salesforce is taking Marketing Cloud…
There will be several keynotes where I’ll be able to hear directly from Salesforce executives about the future of Marketing Cloud. They typically announce new developments and lay out the roadmap for what they have planned going forward. It would really valuable to get a preview of this—it will help us with our strategic planning and priorities. Did you see last year’s product keynote?
I will expand my network and make new connections…
I’m not going to kid you, from what I’ve heard, this event is a lot of fun. It includes a lot of networking events, and I’ll make the most of them. I’ll use it as an opportunity to meet new people. I’d love to make some new acquaintances that I can bounce ideas off—and perhaps learn from—throughout the year. Here are a few of the networking events they have planned.
