Volodymyr Groysman urges to create transparent rules facilitating doing business in Ukraine
OREANDA-NEWS. Ukraine should create transparent, clear rules that will facilitate doing business in Ukraine, attract new investment and promote national economic recovery. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman said this opening up negotiations of government delegations of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Denmark with the participation of Prime Minister of Denmark Lars Rasmussen on Tuesday, 19 April.
"We need to create transparent, clear, general rules that will facilitate doing business and rid it of excessive government regulation," said Volodymyr Groysman.
According to him, reform of tax law, fighting corruption at customs, regulation of the activity of control organizations are among the concrete measures that will facilitate doing business in Ukraine and thus must be taken.
So, noted the Prime Minister, the introduction of an electronic risk management system at customs will ensure equal approach to customs procedures and release extra funds for the state budget. Such reform will be developed and proposed in the near future, said Volodymyr Groysman.
"We are interested in absolute transparency of the current government and will concentrate efforts on achieving this. Most importantly - we have to overcome systematically all these obstacles, no matter what sphere of business it concerns. We focus precisely on this approach," he assured.
Development of the national economy and, in particular, agriculture, energy efficiency is also among the priorities of the Government. Moreover, the Government aims to restore economic growth and promote the deepening and acceleration of reforms, particularly in the areas of justice and the fight against corruption, underlined Volodymyr Groysman.
"The Ukrainian Government expects to resolve current problems very quickly, and to create normal conditions for doing business, both Ukrainian and of our international partners, said Volodymyr Groysman. – We are focused on the concrete steps that will facilitate doing business in Ukraine. We are aware of our problems."
"We understand that Ukraine is facing today many challenges, both internal and external. The accurate work of the Ukrainian Government is the best answer to these challenges," said the Prime Minister.
