OREANDA-NEWS. The compact hatchback Fiat 500 in March entered the Top-10 of European bestsellers, by showing at the same time the best positive dynamics. As it was noted by the research company JATO Dynamics, the locomotives of growth by sales of this city car were markets of Italy, France and Spain.

According to JATO Dynamics, the best-selling model in Europe in March is still Volkswagen Golf, sales of which were 43.5 thousand cars (+ 4%). In the second place there is Ford Fiesta, sales of which fell by 12% to 36.7 thousand cars. The third result was shown by the Renault Clio, which was chosen by 28.1 thousand European buyers (-4%). The next is Volkswagen Polo - sales of this model were 27.6 thousand units (+ 2%). This time the top-five of leaders is closed by Ford Focus, which sold 24.7 units (-6%). The top-10 of best selling models in Europe also includes Peugeot 208 (23.4 thousand units, + 2%), Nissan Qashqai (23,1 thousand units, -4%), Fiat 500 (22.3 thousand units, + 13%) and the Opel / Vauxhall Astra (20,3 thousand units, + 10%).
