OREANDA-NEWS. April 20, 2016. As if dominating the personal e-book market wasn't enough, online mega retailer Amazon is targeting the lucrative school textbook trade too.

According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, Amazon will learn this week whether its bid to supply e-books to New York City public schools will succeed.

If approved by the NYC Board of Education, the contract will reportedly be worth \\$30 million over a three-year period. Amazon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
