FUJIFILM Ultra Pure Solutions wins the “Supplier Excellence Award” from Texas Instruments
OREANDA-NEWS. FUJIFILM Ultra Pure Solutions, Inc. (President & CEO: Brian O'Donnelly; hereinafter “FEUP”), a semiconductor materials business subsidiary of FUJIFILM Corporation (President: Shigehiro Nakajima; hereinafter “Fujifilm”), has won the “Supplier Excellence Award (hereinafter “SEA”)” from the U.S. semiconductor developer / manufacturer Texas Instruments Incorporated (Headquartered in Dallas, USA; hereinafter “TI”).
For 2015, FEUP was one of fourteen companies selected for the highest level of supplier recognition from over 12,000 TI suppliers worldwide. Selection criteria may include cost, environmental and social responsibility, technology, responsiveness, assurance of supply and quality.
FEUP is a supplier of high-purity solvents and chemicals for semiconductor materials and won the SEA for the first time.Through its stable and robust supply chain the company is dedicated to providing the market with the highest quality chemicals and services while meeting technology and cost targets.
Positioning the semiconductor material business as one of the growth fields, Fujifilm is applying its advanced and proprietary technologies to actively engage in this business through the affiliate, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials. FUJIFILM Electronic Materials has development and production sites in Japan, the United States and Belgium, and production sites in Taiwan, South Korea and China. The business contributes to the advancement of the semiconductor industry by globally supplying semiconductor device manufacturers with advanced and enabling process materials including photoresists, cleaning solutions and CMP slurries.
