OREANDA-NEWS  The production of alcoholic beverages (excluding beer, mead, cider, etc.) for the period from January to December increased in Russia by 9.8% compared to 2021. Thus, the production volume reached 199.524 million decaliters (dal). Such information was presented in the materials of Rosalkogolregulirovaniya.

At the same time, the production of alcoholic beverages with a strength of over 9% increased by 8.4%, to 115.386 million dal. Including vodka production increased by almost 4%, to 84.056 million dal, and cognac enterprises produced 8.821 million dal, which is 10.5% more than in 2021.

Wine production in January-December increased by 9.7% to 32.693 million dal compared to the previous year. Including the volume of sparkling wine production for 12 months increased by 25.2% to 16.181 million. The production of liqueur wines increased the most - by 442.5% year-on-year.

In addition, low-alcohol products were produced by 25.4% more than in 2021 - 18.977 million dal.
