OREANDA-NEWS The device of laser cleaning on a continuous source with a capacity of 1.5 thousand watts was developed at a Moscow enterprise, said the Minister of the government of the capital, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow (DIPP) Vladislav Ovchinsky.

"The F-Clean CW laser cleaning device consists of 90% domestic components. With its help, you can remove up to twenty types of contaminants from the metal surface – traces of petroleum products, rust, paint, carbon deposits and much more. The power of the device allows processing up to 200 square centimeters per second, which is especially important for tasks where high performance is required," the press service quotes the words of the head of the DIPP.

They noted that this technology is also used in preparing the surface for paint coating, cleaning welds, removing graffiti from walls, decontamination of radiation pollution and many other tasks. In addition, this method is considered one of the most effective and safe, since the laser beam does not contact the surface and does not damage the material.
In turn, the CEO of Pokkels, Mikhail Olegin, explained that the company produces products on its own base, which is located both in the capital and in the Moscow region.

Since 2018, this company has been producing high–tech laser equipment - both serial models that are suitable for a wide range of customers, and individual solutions. The company also integrates laser systems with collaborative robots.
