OREANDA-NEWS. The industrial complex for the manufacture of fire equipment will be built in Moscow on the Leningradskoye Shosse, the press service of the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy (DIPP) reports.

 “The area of ​​the plot is 1.15 hectares.  The investor plans to build on it a complex for the production of components for special fire fighting equipment with a total floor area of ​​about 17.3 thousand square meters, ”said Anastasia Pyatova, chairman of Moskomstroyinvest, executive secretary of the State Defense Committee.

 According to the press service, the issue of providing a land plot for the construction of an industrial complex for the production of fire tankers, fire escape ladders and other special fire fighting equipment was approved at a meeting of the Moscow City Development and Land Commission on August 22, 2019.  The land plot will be leased by the company "ST – AUTO", specializing in the production of components for fire trucks.  The site was provided to the enterprise without tendering as part of a large-scale investment project, the report said.
