OREANDA-NEWS. The Kaluga plant "Volvo Vostok" is currently working full-time and this year plans to increase the production of Volvo brand trucks. The director of the enterprise Abuayub Abdenasser informed about it, by specifying that 24 cars will descend from the assembly line daily in June. The cabins for them are delivered by a neighboring company located in the neighborhood of the same Swedish concern. In connection with the restoration of production volumes, more than 280 specialists were returned to their workplaces, the total number of employees is over 500 people, reports the press service of the Kaluga region government.

In the plans of the plant "Volvo Vostok" – there is expansion of the localization of production in Kaluga.
