OREANDA-NEWS  All used cars imported to Russia from abroad will be equipped with an emergency call system "ERA-GLONASS". In this case, according to the Governor of Primorsky Territory, Vladimir Miklushevsky, such vehicles will install a "simplified" version of the device. The main difference from the system, installed on new cars – is that the emergency notification will be carried out after self-pressing the appropriate button in the car, writes AutoNews.ru.

"For the Ministry of industry and trade with commercial company OOO ERA-Glonass, it was entrusted to develop a special device. It will be a little simplistic, not the one that is installed in serial cars. The button will be given manually, said Mr. Miklushevsky on the air of the Vladivostok television and radio company. The governor added that the region already has a company with a license for this type of activity.

Recall, since January 1st, in Russia, the rules for registering foreign cars have changed - the installation of the ERA-GLONASS system was a prerequisite. In this regard, there were "stuck" about a thousand cars when registering in Russia in customs warehouses in Primorye, another part - in Japan, and there are about 1400 suspended cars. Meanwhile, since February of 17 in Primorye, it was introduced a temporary moratorium on the new customs regulations. To date, the car passports has been given for all cars, for which it was submitted customs declarations and a recycling fee has been paid.
