OREANDA-NEWS Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant began sales of modernized commercial UAZ "Cargo". Previously there were upgraded other models of the family - "Patriot" and "Pick-up".

According to the portal Wroom.ru, the updated "Cargo" received a modified radiator closure, completely new front panel, adjustable steering wheel, as well as a single fuel tank of 68 liters, instead of two tanks of 36 liters each. Control of work of four-wheel drive transmission at "Cargo" is carried out by gears, but not e-hockey, as in SUV and pickup truck.

After the restyling of "Patriot" and "Pick-up" lost versions with diesel engines, but "Cargo" didn’t have such option: the car will still be equipped with a petrol engine ZMZ-409 with volume of 2.7 liters and a capacity of 135 HP.

The truck in the basic configuration became more expansive by 29 thousand Rubles, and it costs now 759 thousand Rubles, but its modest equipment is now complemented by the driver's airbag. There is available locking rear axle differential as an option for 29 thousand rubles.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", for eleven months of 2016 the sales of UAZ cars in the Russian market increased by 1% up to 42,939 units. Best-seller of brand is the flagship SUV UAZ "Patriot", which was chosen by 17023 buyers (-4%).
