OREANDA-NEWS. The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant introduced a new product in the LCV segment with a payload capacity of 1.5 tons - the UAZ model «Profi». As the press service of the company informs, at the moment the new commercial vehicle has successfully passed all necessary certification tests and it received approval of the type of vehicle and approval of the chassis type.

The new light commercial vehicle UAZ «Profi» will be manufactured with a wide range of add-ons that will satisfy the most diverse needs of customers in the field of cargo transportation, delivery of goods, construction repair works, etc. At the start of sales, consumers will be offered a rear-wheel drive version with two types of platforms, the carrying capacity of which is up to 5 euro pallet. The car will be equipped with a gasoline engine with a capacity of 160 hp of production of the Zavolzhsky motor plant.

UAZ «Profi» in the «Standard» configuration will be equipped with ABS + EBD system, driver's airbag, electric windows, salon filter, central lock, side mirrors with heating and electric adjustment. The price of the Standard version will be 649 000 rubles.

The «Comfort» package, the surcharge for which is 50,000 rubles, includes air conditioning, burglar alarm with remote-controlled central lock, fog lights, driver's seat height adjustment and lumbar support, audio system (MP3 / USB) with two speakers, winter package with electric windshield heating, heated seats, high capacity battery (75A).

Also on the choice of consumers it will be offered such additional options as: locking of the rear differential, winter package (for standard equipment), parking assistance system, a modern multimedia system with a 7-inch interactive screen and the ability to integrate the navigation system.
