OREANDA-NEWS. Ulyanovsk plant accelerates the dynamics of production and it required the intensive work of component suppliers and logistics service delivery of finished products. It was announced by the CEO of UAZ, Vadim Shvetsov at the working meeting with the governor of the Ulyanovsk region, Sergey Morozov.

The head of UAZ also stressed that the dealer network is filled in with new cars "Patriot," which received good reviews. "We expect that the demand for the car will be very good, which will execute sales plans for the end of this year, and most importantly - will form a foundation for the next. We hope that in the first half of the year we will be supported by the pent-up demand of buyers of the new "Patriot". We focus on the growth of production. The plant works stable, five days a week, and now we went to the maximum rate of delivery vehicles. Therefore, the year will be completed by the plan, the complicated scenes for the implementation of the production program are not expected ", - said Vadim Shvetsov, who was cited by the press service of the government of the Ulyanovsk region.

Another issue that was raised at the meeting was the personnel policy of UAZ. Vadim Shvetsov said that staff reductions are not planned, in the future work of the enterprise – there is the launch of new products as well as certification of the workforce.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", for the first ten months of 2016 the sales of UAZ cars in the Russian market grew by 1% to 39297 units. Best-seller of brand is the flagship SUV UAZ "Patriot", which was chosen by 15,516 customers (-3.2%). Recall that in October Russian dealers of UAZ began to take orders for new UAZ "Patriot".
