OREANDA-NEWS. Analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" conducted a study of the Russian car market and it made a rating of the best-selling domestic models for the first 10 months of 2016.

According to the survey, the most popular domestic model in the secondary market is LADA Samara. Sales of this family car have reached 355.5 thousand units in the reporting period, which is less by 9% than a year before. Second place in the ranking is occupied by AvtoVAZ "classics” (LADA Classic) with the index of 258 thousand resold units (-15%). The top-three leaders includes another representative of LADA - «tenth family" (203.8 thousand units; -6%).

The next four positions of the ranking are also belonged to the models produced at AVTOVAZ: LADA Priora (135,3 thousand units; + 12%), LADA 4x4 (93,7 thousand units; + 1%.), LADA Kalina (93, 5 thousand units; + 9%) and LADA Granta (48,2 thousand units; + 54%). And only on the eighth line there is the domestic model, which has no relation to the AvtoVAZ – it is GAZ-3110 "Volga", the market volume of which from January to October reached 27 thousand vehicles (-17%). It is followed by "Oka" (23.4 thousand units; -16%), and UAZ-3151 closes the top-ten (15.7 thousand units; -7%).

Totally, since the beginning of this year the market of used domestic cars in Russia reached 1.33 million units, which is less by 4.9% than a year ago.
