OREANDA-NEWS The analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" summed up the results of the third annual research "Residual value - 2017" and it determined the leading models by the preservation of the residual value.

According to the results of the study, in the price range "Standard", the largest number of leading positions by the results of 2016 fell on cars of the Japanese brand Toyota, which are the first at once in three of the nine segments.

So, Toyota Corolla (the safest of residual value is 92.22%) is the leader in the C-segment, Toyota Hilux (104.56%) is the best one among pickup trucks, and Toyota Highlander (100.05%) occupies the leading position in the SUV segment (D). In addition, five more Toyota models (Camry, Alphard, RAV4, LC Prado, LC 200) were among the top-three in other segments.

According to the leading specialist of public relations of Toyota Motor, Natalia Astafieva, eight of ten Toyota models in the Russian market were among the leaders in terms of safety of residual value in 2016. "The results of the study, conducted by the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", show that almost each officially sold Toyota car guarantees the high residual value," noted Ms. Astafieva.
