OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of the market of new trucks in Russia was 5.6 thousand units in May of 2017, which is more by 68.6% than a year ago.

The leader of the truck market is still the Russian manufacturer KAMAZ, the share of which was a third part of the total volume in the last month. In quantitative terms, it corresponds to about 1,9 thousand units – more by 48% than the result of a year ago. The second place is occupied by another domestic brand - GAZ, whose figure was 689 cars (+ 28.8%). The top-three is closed by Swedish Volvo (384 units), the market volume of which has grown 8.7 times.
