OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of KIA have started sales of the new generation of Kia Rio sedan, the production of which has been set up at the plant in St. Petersburg. The novelty is available in six levels and ten configurations at a price of 669,900 rubles. For the model it is offered two engines - a new 1.4 Kappa MPI with a capacity of 100 hp and upgraded 1.6 Gamma MPI with a capacity of 123 hp. Both motors can be aggregated by a 6-speed mechanical or automatic transmission.

The basic equipment includes air conditioning, heating and electric adjustment of the exterior mirrors, electric front windows, power steering, front cushions, anti-lock brakes and ESC, the integrated active control system of the VSM chassis, the launch assistant on the UAS lift, the emergency brake warning system ESS, and also for the first time for this model - the tire pressure monitoring system. The new Rio is equipped with the ERA-GLONASS system.

In the most affordable version of the Classic (for 669 thousand 900 rubles) engine it is installed 1.4 MPI and a mechanical 6-speed gearbox on the Rio car. The car in this configuration has a textile finish of seats and audio preparation (4 speakers). In addition, there is an additional version of Classic Audio for 704 900 rubles with a standard head unit with a radio receiver, USB and AUX inputs. The Classic Audio also includes heated front seats.
