OREANDA-NEWS.  According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of the market of new trucks in Russia was 5.9 thousand units in April of 2017, which is more by 35.7% than a year ago.

The leader of the truck market is still the Russian manufacturer KAMAZ, the share of which was 37% of the total volume in the last month. In quantitative terms, it corresponds to 2.2 thousand units – more by 27.4% than the result of a year ago. The second place is occupied by another domestic brand - GAZ, whose figure was 614 cars (-15%). The top-three is closed by Swedish Volvo (378 units), the market volume of which has grown 3 times. The top-five also included Japanese Isuzu (350 units, + 117.4%) and German Mercedes-Benz (342 units, + 557.7%).

By the results of four months of 2017, the market of new trucks in Russia was 19.3 thousand units - more by 33.8% than in the same period of the last year.
