The UAZ entered the TOP-10 of leaders of the Russian car market in February
OREANDA-NEWS The group of companies "Sollers", which represents brands UAZ and SsangYong, sold 3522 vehicles in February (+ 0.7%). As a result, the share of Sollers in the Russian market was 3.3% compared to 3.1% a year before, according to AEB. By the results of the first two months of 2017, it was sold 5257 UAZ SsangYong cars in Russia, which is less by 5.8% than the result for the same period in the last year.
The sales of UAZ vehicles in February grew by 13% and they were 3507 units. As a result, UAZ entered the top-ten in terms of sales in the Russian market, by occupying the ninth place, noted the analysts of the agency "AUTOSTAT". The best-seller of the brand is still the flagship SUV "Patriot".
Meanwhile, at the end of January of 2017, a new subcompact crossover SsangYong Tivoli was launched in the Russian market, and the sales of the crossover Actyon were resumed. Last month, Korean brand dealers sold the first 15 such cars.
