OREANDA-NEWS According to the agency "Auto-Dealer-SPb", in January-February of 2017, the St. Petersburg car plants Hyundai, Nissan and Toyota produced 50,400 cars, which is more by 49% than in January-February of 2016.

In February, the production remained at the level of January - plants produced 25,200 cars. The growth dynamics has significantly decreased. If in January it was 140%, then in February - only 8%, which was reflected on the general indicator for two months.

The share of the St. Petersburg car industry in relation to the total Russian car production in January-February of 2017 was 27% (22.7% a year ago).

Seven models, produced at urban enterprises, entered the TOP-25 of the most popular cars in Russia for the first two months of this year. It is KIA Rio (number one in the market), Hyundai Creta (the most popular SUV), Hyundai Solaris, Toyota RAV4, Toyota Camry, Nissan Qashqai and Nissan X-Trail.
