OREANDA-NEWS. According to the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", the volume of Russian exports of cars (excluding the countries that are members of the Customs Union) for the 5 months of 2017 was about 19 thousand units. This is more by 55% than during the same period of a year ago.

Over half (54%) of this number is occupied by Skoda cars, which were exported in amount of 10.1 thousand units. And all this volume falls on one model - the crossover Yeti. On the second place among the brands there is the domestic LADA, which in the export structure owns 24%, which corresponds to 4,5 thousand units. In the top three there is also Korean Hyundai, which for 5 months exported more than 1000 cars. In addition to the mentioned Skoda Yeti, the top-three of models includes two LADA - a 4x4 SUV (2.3 thousand units) and Vesta sedan (1.1 thousand units).

As for the main export destinations, the Czech Republic is the leader - more than half of the Russian export for the reporting period came to this country (10.1 thousand units).
