OREANDA-NEWS. Since the beginning of this year, it was sold over 100,000 cars through the state programs to support demand, said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Denis Manturov.

«We are on schedule - more than 100 thousand, 110 (thousand units) were sold under programs (support of demand), it's even with some anticipation, if we talk about annual plans,» - said the minister, whose words were cited by the agency Finmarket.

As the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted, the creation of targeted demand support programs is at the stage of completion. «As for the new programs (targeted support for demand), as we said, we are at the stage of their completion, reconciliation. We expect that from the second half of the year we will add (them) to the existing programs and reformat them somewhat to try new instruments,» - Mr.Manturov said.

In his view, the direct support cannot be kept on an ongoing basis - it is necessary «to adapt gradually the market and consumers to market conditions, expecting that interest rates will decline.»
