OREANDA-NEWS. PAO Severstal has announced the following management and structural changes to enhance the company's efficiency and competitiveness, effective from December 1, 2015.

Alexander Kolobov, previously Deputy Business System Development Director of Severstal Russian Steel, has been appointed Business System Development Director of Severstal. He will report directly to Vadim Larin, CEO. Alexander will be in charge of Business System Development projects at all of Severstal's assets. Alexey Soldatenkov has stepped down as Business System Development Director of Severstal Russian Steel and is leaving Severstal to pursue other interests.

In addition, Severstal has announced a decision to separate the Sales and Marketing departments of Severstal Russian Steel:
- The Marketing department will be led by Dmitry Goroshov, previously Head of Sales and Marketing at Severstal Russian Steel. Mr. Goroshov will report directly to Vadim Larin.
- The Sales Department will be led by Eugenе Chernyakov, previously Head of Order Planning and Production Department. Mr. Chernyakov will report to Sergey Toropov, CEO of Severstal Russian Steel.

Alexsey Podkolzin, previously MES and Integrated Planning project manager, will now head the Order Planning and Production Department.

Vadim Larin, CEO of Severstal, said: "Our aim is for Severstal's corporate structure to comply with best international practice in customer care, where marketing and sales are traditionally separate departments with different functions. Our corporate structure should reflect the fact that we have an integrated approach to implementing  and managing Severstal's Business System initiatives. Severstal is constantly moving forward, developing and evolving and our corporate structure reflects this."
