OREANDA-NEWS. Sberbank has launched its own global processing center in Minsk, intended to serve Sberbank's subsidiaries in Europe and Belarus.

"The global processing center will allow Sberbank to substantially optimize costs, increase the efficiency of client service and new product launches," Svetlana Sagaidak, Senior Vice President and Head of Global Markets division, said. "We have launched the implementation in Belarus and we plan to connect Sberbank's subsidiaries in Germany, Czech Republic and Croatia to the center after."

The full functional launch of Sberbank's global processing center will be completed by the end of 2017. In prospect, Sberbank plans to enter the market as service provider for third-party banks.
