OREANDA-NEWS. The results of 5 months of 2017 the volume of the market of electric vehicles Tesla in Russia was 15 units. This is more by 25% than the result of a year ago (12 units).

From January to May, the Russians bought 11 crossovers Tesla Model X and 4 sedans Tesla Model S. Most of the electric cars of the American brand were sold in Moscow and the Moscow region, their share was about 75% of the total volume (11 units). By one electric vehicle Tesla was bought by residents of St. Petersburg, Kazan, Rostov-on-Don and Khabarovsk.

At present the electric cars Tesla remain the most popular in the Russian market. Their share was more than 70% of the total sales of electric vehicles in the country.
