OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Ford sold 4222 cars in August, which is more by 24% compared to the last year. According to the results of eight months of 2017, 30,233 Ford cars (+ 10%) were sold.

According to the press service of Ford Sollers, the bestseller of the brand in August remains the crossover Ford Kuga, whose sales grew by 102% and they were 1335 cars. Since the beginning of the year, 7953 such cars have been found by their owners, which is more by 52% than a year ago.

On the second place by sales among Ford models there is Focus model - it was chosen by 1126 customers in August (+ 12%). By the results of eight months of 2017, Ford Focus keeps the status of Ford's best-seller in Russia with an indicator of 8824 sold cars.

Demand has grown considerably for seven-seater off-road car Ford Explorer, which in the last month has been sold in amount of 189 units (+ 133%), for January-August - 1434 units (+ 56%). For Ford Transit, August also became the best month of sales for the last 2.7 years Ц there were sold 867 cars (+ 99%), a record figure since 2014. From the beginning of 2017 it was sold 4,962 Ford Transit.
