OREANDA-NEWS. Russian dealers of Renault sold 10,917 cars in May - more by 22% compared to the last year. As a result, Renault took the fourth place by sales among all automakers in Russia, and the market share of the brand was 8.7% compared to 8.2% a year before, according to the AEB. According to the results of five months of 2017, Renault's sales in the Russian market were 48599 cars, which is more by 15.8% than in the same period of the last year.

The best-selling Renault in Russia is still the crossover Duster - it was chosen by 3456 consumers in the last month (-17%). The second place in the model range of Renault was occupied by the compact crossover Kaptur, which was sold in the amount of 2669 units. It should be noted that by the end of May this model was included in the TOP-10 of the best-selling cars in the Russian market, stated the analysts of the agency «AUTOSTAT».
