OREANDA-NEWS  According to the evaluation of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT", it was sold 10.4 thousand new pickups in Russia in 2017, which is more by 8.9% than the result of a year ago. The leader of sales in the pickup segment was the model of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant. Last year, UAZ "Pickup" was bought by 3750 Russians - 15.2% more than in 2016.

As the experts of the analytic agency "AUTOSTAT" noted, this happened for the first time in the history of the Russian market. But Toyota Hilux, which was the leader for the last four years, dropped to the second place. In 2017, sales of this model were 3495 units (+ 4.8%). The top-three is closed by Mitsubishi L200 in the Russian segment of pickups with an index of 1642 sold units (+ 8.2%).
