Michelin has appointed a new head of the Russian office
OREANDA-NEWS Kamran Vossugi was appointed the General Director of "Michelin Russian Company of the production of tires", as well as the head of the East-European geographical area of Michelin Group, in the perimeter of liability of which today is the company's business development in 12 countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Kamran Vossugi has many years of experience in senior positions in the Michelin Group. Since 2002 he was responsible for the quality and production of Michelin tires for such sports international racing disciplines such as Formula 1 championship, rally racing WRC, marathon "24 hours of Le Mans" and the World Cup on the highway-circular races of MotoGP.
From 2008 to 2011 years Kamran Vossugi was the director of the Michelin plant in the Polish city of Olsztyn, one of the leading companies of the production of truck tires in the world, and then until 2014 he led the implementation of the program for improvement of the Group activity (France). The last two years, Mr. Vossugi served as Vice President of Michelin Group as well as Director of the Group's progress, developing new business models.
