OREANDA-NEWS. The company Mercedes-Benz Rus announced the recall of 8404 cars Mercedes-Benz GLE / GLE coupe / E-classes and C- / GLC- / S-classes on September 15th.

As the press service of Rosstandart informs, 8346 Mercedes-Benz GLE / GLE coupe / E-class cars, sold from 2015 to 2016, are to be recalled, due to the leaky plug connection on the electric power steering. On cars, the plug connection on the power steering will be replaced.

The recall also includes 58 Mercedes-Benz C- / GLS- / S-class cars, sold from 2016 to 2017. The cause of the recall is the possible inconsistency between the specification of the ratio of the working substances in certain pockets of the belt tensioner. On vehicles, the front left belt tensioner will be replaced.
