OREANDA-NEWS. Oil Company "Lukoil" on November 7th signed an agreement with Volkswagen Group Rus about the supply of engine oil for conveyor fill in of the engine at the plant of concern in Kaluga. Especially for the project "Lukoil" has delivered for the production oil Lukoil Genesis VS 5W-40 by Volkswagen technology. For the automaker it has become an important element of the localization process, the implementation of the rules of which is prescribed for the foreign enterprises by the federal legislation, informed the press service of "Lukoil".

Volkswagen Group Rus Company executes successfully the program on localization of production in Russia. And prerequisite condition for suppliers of components and consumables, including lubricants, is the certification by the international automotive standard ISO / TS 16949 and own standard VW Formel Q and strict quality control of products at the plant.

As previously reported by "AUTOSTAT", the launch of engine plant of Volkswagen Group Rus took place in September of 2015. The total investment in the construction of the plant in Kaluga was EUR 250 million. Engine 1.6 MPI of EA211 series is available in two versions - 90 hp and 110 hp. Gasoline powertrains of Kaluga production are installed at five models of Group: Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Rapid, produced at the plant in Kaluga, and on the models Volkswagen Jetta, Skoda Octavia and Skoda Yeti, which are produced in Nizhny Novgorod.
