OREANDA-NEWS Russian dealers of Lexus in the end of 2016 sold 241 certified cars with Lexus Select, which is more by 41% than a year ago (171 cars). The press service of Lexus reported the agency "AUTOSTAT", by noting that the growth was due to the total sales of cars with mileage in the dealer centers of the Japanese brand.

The program of sales of certified cars with Lexus Select includes a comprehensive car check by 136 items, a full dry cleaning of the cabin by Japanese technology, basic maintenance and post-warranty technical support for a period of 1 year, comparable to the coverage with a plant warranty, and a loan offer.

Lexus Select-certified cars can be recognized cars that were imported to Russia by the official distributor of Toyota Motor. At the same time the age of the car should not exceed 5 years, mileage - no more than 130 thousand km. The car must be free from damage to the load-carrying body elements and body geometry, as well as to have the original passport and fully comply with the data specified in this document, including the data entered when the car was imported to Russia. For each used car with a Lexus Select, it is issued a certificate, which is certifying the vehicle's reliability and compliance with the program standards.

By starting in February of 2017, the Toyota and Lexus dealer network launched the AutoSelect certification program, in which Lexus dealerships can also certify Toyota cars.
