OREANDA-NEWS. The Kazakhstan plant "Asia Auto" has started the serial production of the completely updated line of Skoda. The enterprise in Ust-Kamenogorsk has started the production of three new models of the brand - the upgraded liftbacks Rapid and Octavia, as well as the third generation of the representative sedan Superb, informs the press service of Asia Auto.

"We are pleased to announce the resumption of active production of Skoda vehicles on the Ust-Kamenogorsk conveyor. After a pause due to a two-year decline in the Kazakh auto industry, the brand returns to the republic's market in a completely renewed look. Today we are launching three models at once. Now 100% of the brand's offer in Kazakhstan is made up of cars that just got off the assembly line of the plant," - said the president of Asia Auto, Erik Sagymbayev.

and The approach to the equipping of new Skoda is changed cardinally. For the first time there were appeared side airbags on models in the initial version, and in richer trim levels - such useful options as heated steering and all seats, a rear-view camera and all-LED lights.
