Kawasaki delivers newly developed 311,000-ton VLCC KISOGAWA
OREANDA-NEWS. Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Ltd. delivered today the KISOGAWA (Kawasaki hull no. 8026, NACKS hull no. NE237), a very large crude oil carrier (VLCC), to KISOGAWA SHIPPING S.A. The vessel was delivered at the Nantong COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (NACKS) shipyard, which is located in Nantong, China and operated jointly with China COSCO Shipping Corporation Limited. The KISOGAWA is the first vessel of Kawasaki's newly developed 311,000-ton (dead weight tonnage) VLCC.
