OREANDA-NEWS In 2016, according to the tasks of the Commerce and Finance Company and Foreign Trade Company KAMAZ, there were developed and adjusted 120 vehicle sets (chassis) in the development block.

As the press service of KAMAZ informs, in connection with the growing competition, the process of updating of the model line is accelerating. Former configurations gradually come out of use, giving way to "change". One of the main directions is the work of KAMAZ with manufacturers of special vehicles. According to the chief designer of KAMAZ, Danis Valeev, for the last year, it was formed 200 protocols for the use of chassis with 60 manufacturers of special machinery in the composition of 400 items. "These are vehicles for the oil and gas producing complex, vans for the transport of goods, people, with the equipment of laboratories," – said Mr. Valeev. "The list also includes fire trucks, tank trucks, auto fuelers, dump trucks and much more".

For these purposes, it is suitable and used the almost the whole range of KAMAZ vehicles. Most of new add-ons are placed on the chassis of KAMAZ-43118, -65115, -5350, -4308 models. "Also it is worth noting the growing demand for special equipment with the use of chassis with gas engines. These are vehicles for the oil and gas production complex, cisterns, vans, garbage trucks, truck cranes, road sweepers and combined road vehicles, cars with platforms", - noted Mr. Valeev. – “It is noteworthy that the special equipment began to appear already on the basis of the chassis of the new model line: these are grain trucks on the chassis KAMAZ-65207”.
