The announced amount of investments is planned until 2022 and it includes the construction of a plant of carcass cabin in Naberezhnye Chelny, the renovation of production facilities and the launch of a new model line of the company. As it was noted by «Finmarket», this was reported by the deputy general director of PJSC «KAMAZ», Zhanna Khaliullina, in the sidelines of the exhibition «Innoprom», held in Yekaterinburg.

«The plant of carcasses of the cabin in accordance with the project should be put into operation in the first quarter of 2019. This year it is planned to start the installation of equipment. Total investment in the development of the product and the modernization of production will be about 100 billion rubles. We are investing in our new model range: these are not only the carcasses of the cabins, a new production of engines is being created, the main assembly line will be also modernized,» - she explained.

The implementation of this project, she said, will create a new generation of KAMAZ vehicles and a new cabin. She also reminded that the new plant within the framework of the joint venture will produce carcasses of cabins that will be used both on the KAMAZ vehicles of the new model line and on Mercedes-Benz trucks.
