OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation) was awarded with the Certificate of Merit of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property for outstanding achievements in the inventive, rationalization, patent and licensing activities, as well as in the promotion of innovative projects.

The document was handed to the representatives of KAMAZ at the II International Forum Intellectual Property and Economy of Russian Regions which was held in Kazan. The V Congress of Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISC) of the Russian Federation took place at Kazan's IT Park at the same time. One of 22 such centers of Tatarstan was registered at KAMAZ. Before the start of the plenary session, Andrey Savinkov, Deputy Chief Designer of KAMAZ, presented a KAMAZ stand to the distinguished guests of the forum and told about the results of innovative activities. Only for the last 2016, more than 1200 KAMAZ employees participated in it, more than 80 applications were prepared and sent to Rospatent. The company's policy in this area aims not only to create a product popular in the market, but also to protect its patents from unfair competition. In all, there are 660 objects of exclusive rights registered in the name of KAMAZ PTC in the company's intellectual assets.
