OREANDA-NEWS. Sergey Kogogin, General Director of KAMAZ PTC (part of Rostec State Corporation), held a meeting where the results of the company's production and financial activities in the first quarter were summed up.

Deputy General Directors of KAMAZ PTC responsible for various activities told about the company's performance since the beginning of the year and tasks for the second quarter.

The results of the company's participation in Tatarstan competitions were announced at the meeting. KAMAZ was recognized as the winner in the Leader of Tourism competition in the Route of Industrial Tourism category and received the Diploma of the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan. The company was also awarded the Diploma of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Tatarstan for the first place in Tatarstan's competition Potential of the Republic for the best work with young people in the organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan. In addition, the KAMAZ-5490 won the Diploma of the laureate of the contest Best Goods and Services of the Republic of Tatarstan in the nomination Industrial and Technology Products. The results of the company's activities aimed at protecting the environment are also highly praised. KAMAZ became the owner of the Diploma of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for the second place among enterprises and organizations in the nomination Mechanical Engineering.

To add to this, personnel appointments were on the agenda of the meeting. Sergey Kogogin introduced new heads of KAMAZ departments. Thus, Vladimir Kurganov, formerly Chief Engineer of the Foundry of the auto giant, was appointed General Director of Tuimazinskiy Zavod Avtobetonovozov PTC, a subsidiary of KAMAZ in Bashkiria. And Andrey Gladkov, ex-Director of Special Projects, became General Director of KAMAZ Leasing Company Inc.
