OREANDA-NEWS. In an email today, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich announced changes to the company’s leadership team:

As I announced last week, Navin Shenoy has assumed responsibility for the Data Center Group. Today I would like to announce that Gregory Bryant (GB) is taking on the important role of general manager for the Client Computing Group (CCG), effective immediately and reports to Murthy Renduchintala. In addition, he is joining Intel’s Management Committee.

GB has had a long and varied career at Intel, which makes him an ideal fit to lead CCG to empower the world with the best personal computing experiences.

CCG is our largest and most profitable business, encompassing PCs, home gateways and other compute devices. GB and his team will continue focusing on growing revenue and profitability through strong execution, a robust segmentation strategy, and leadership products.

Most recently, GB was leading the strategy and product development for Intel’s Connected Home and Commercial Client (CHC) businesses. Previously he was the general manager for the Asia Pacific and Japan region and directed sales activities for a large global account while based in China. While serving as general manager of the Business Client Platform Division, he led the development and ramp of Intel vPro® Technology globally. GB began his career as an engineer at Intel in 1992. The succession plan for general manager of CHC will be communicated in the coming weeks.
