OREANDA-NEWS  JV Ford Sollers announces the expansion of the model range of special versions of commercial vehicles based on Ford Transit, which can be ordered at any dealership Transit Center. The order for the customer-selected versions is transferred by the dealer directly to Ford Sollers, reports the company's press service.

Currently, Ford Sollers customers have already the opportunity to order more than 16 special versions, produced in cooperation with accredited partners, directly at authorized Ford Sollers dealers. Now the offer line has expanded by 24 versions in 5 different types of applications. So, for the order at dealers there became accessible: the bus, the school bus, the cargo van, the isothermal van-refrigerator, the car for business purposes.

The list of standard equipment for special vehicles based on Ford Transit includes an anti-lock braking system, an electronic stability control system, an assistance system for starting uphill, an emergency brake assistance system, heated driver's and passenger seats, heated windshields, and a driver's seat adjustment in 8 directions.

Ford Transit is the most popular model in Russia in the segment of light commercial vehicles of foreign brands. The line of Transit includes more than 25 variants of special and social purpose, produced by two accredited bodybuilding partners.

As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", Russian dealers of Ford in the first half of 2017 sold 3,397 light commercial vehicles Transit, which is more by 45% than the result of a year ago.
