OREANDA-NEWS From the assembly line of the Ford Sollers plant in Yelabuga, the 50,000th crossover Ford Kuga has come down since the start of production of this model in Russia in July of 2012. Anniversary car was the all-wheel drive model of series Titanium Plus of gray color Magnetic, equipped with 1,5-liter petrol engine EcoBoost with a capacity of 182 hp in combination with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The crossover has such equipment as the system Lane Keeping Aid band, a multimedia system SYNC 3 with an improved 8 "touch screen and support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. The car is equipped with a system of calling emergency operations services "ERA-GLONASS", reports the press service of Ford Sollers.
Today, in addition to the crossover Ford Kuga, the plant in Yelabuga produces an off-road vehicle Ford Explorer, as well as a full line of commercial vehicles Ford Transit for full cycle technology. The production of Ford cars in the Yelabuga plant started in early 2012, the number of Ford cars produced at the moment was about 115 thousand units.

In January-March, 2,118 customers bought Ford Kuga. So, in the first quarter of 2017, 56% of Ford Kuga buyers chose a front-wheel drive car and a 2.5-liter petrol engine with 150 hp paired with an automatic transmission. By taking into account all the current marketing programs, the first price of the new Ford Kuga was 1 million 294 thousand rubles.
