OREANDA-NEWS. Import of cars to Russia for the first four months of 2017 fell by 19.1% to 64.2 thousand cars. According to the Federal Customs Service (FTS) of Russia, in the reporting period, cars were imported to Russia for 1 million 832.6 million dollars. At the same time, 61.4 thousand cars were imported from the far-abroad countries for 1 million 811.8 million dollars, from the CIS countries - 2.7 thousand cars for 20.8 million dollars.

Imports of trucks in January-April grew by 35.8% up to 7.2 thousand cars worth $ 571.1 million. Among them, 5.9 thousand trucks for 270 million dollars were delivered from non-CIS countries, the rest 1.2 thousand vehicles for 301.1 million dollars - from the CIS countries.
