OREANDA-NEWS  The compact crossover Hyundai Creta remained the best seller in the SUV segment in the Russian market in April, by keeping the leadership for the ninth consecutive month. Last month, the sales of this model were 4583 vehicles.

Renault Duster returned to the second place, on which 3829 buyers (-14%) stopped their choice. The third place went to Chevrolet Niva with an indicator of 2921 sold cars (+ 2%). Renault Kaptur comes the next, which was sold in amount of 2,649 units. The top-five of most popular off-road vehicles in Russia is closed this time by LADA 4x4, whose sales were 2476 cars (+ 33%). The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment is closed by KIA Sportage (2468 units, + 52%), Volkswagen Tiguan (2,244 units, the growth 3.4 times), Toyota RAV4 (2157 units, -25%), Nissan Qashqai (1500 pcs., + 34%) and Nissan X-Trail (1434 units, + 50%).

It should be noted that for the four months of 2017, the leader among the SUV models is also Hyundai Creta with the figure of 15928 sold cars. The Renault Duster comes the next, which was sold in amount of 12430 units (-19%) and Chevrolet Niva, the sales of which were 9526 cars (+ 2%).
