OREANDA-NEWS. The compact crossover Hyundai Creta in May remained the bestseller in the SUV segment in the Russian market, by keeping the leadership for the tenth month in a row. Last month, the sales of this model were 4203 cars.

The second place is held by Renault Duster, at which 3456 buyers (-17%) stopped their choice. The third place was occupied by Toyota RAV4 with the figure of 3166 sold cars (+ 23%). The next is Renault Kaptur, which was sold in amount of 2,669 units. This time the top-five of most popular off-road vehicles in Russia is closed by Chevrolet Niva, whose sales were 2,422 vehicles (+ 3%). The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment included also KIA Sportage (2258 units, + 60%), LADA 4x4 (2207 units, + 21%), Volkswagen Tiguan (2165 units, the growth 3.4 times), Nissan Qashqai (1607 units, + 3%) and Nissan X-Trail (1550 units, + 2%).
