OREANDA-NEWS. The new compact crossover Hyundai Creta in February remained the best seller in the SUV segment in the Russian market, by keeping the leadership for the seventh month in a row. Last month, the sales of this model were 4,055 vehicles.

In the second place there is still Renault Duster, which was chosen by 3240 buyers (-22.8%). The third place went to Toyota RAV4 with the index of 2244 sold cars (-26.6%). The next was Chevrolet Niva, whose sales were 2231 cars (-7.4%). The top-five of the most popular off-road vehicles in Russia this time was closed by LADA 4x4, which was sold in amount of 2024 units (-24.2%). The TOP-10 of bestsellers of the SUV segment includes also Renault Kaptur (1838 units), Nissan X-Trail (1781 units, + 8.2%), Volkswagen Tiguan (1741 units, + 119.8%), Nissan Qashqai (1476 units, -10.1%) and KIA Sportage (1474 units, + 94.5%).
