OREANDA-NEWS. On July 11, as part of her business trip across Zabaikalsky Krai Gov. Natalya Zhdanova held an on-site meeting to discuss the future opening of Mine No. 6 of PJSC PIMCU, and inspected the construction site.

The meeting was attended by the adviser to the general director of JSC Atomredmetzoloto Valery Makarov, Acting General Director of PJSC PIMCU Denis Mikhailov, head of the municipal district of City of Krasnokamensk (Krasnokamensky District) Germann Kolov, and Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Zabaikalsky Krai Alexey Sadovnikov.

At the beginning of the meeting the head of the region noted that developing the projects of Argunskoe and Zherlovoe uranium deposits in Zabaikalsky Krai will help neutralize the negative consequences of the unfavorable market situation and help maintain production volumes.

«The Government of Zabaikalsky Krai has been providing support for the project of Mine No. 6, including work with the Government of the Russian Federation on existing financing instruments. The Government also seeks to attract financing from other development institutions. This is why I believe it extremely important to join our efforts to bring this project forward,» Natalya Zhdanova said.
